Tax training is aimed at individuals and small business owners who want to ensure that they, or their responsible employee(s), understand the principles and processes of calculating taxes and how to complete and submit tax returns to prevent fines and penalties being levied by SARS. Presenter: Training sessions are presented by Tanja Joubert. She is a chartered accountant and SARS tax practitioner with several years’ experience in training and a senior lecturer in Accounting at UNISA. Training and teaching is her passion and she lives for that moment when someone’s eyes light up with understanding.

VAT

Course duration: 5 hours


This course covers everything from who must register and how, right through to calculations and the submission of VAT201 returns via eFiling. Learn how to calculate VAT to make sure SARS doesn’t charge you interest and penalties and claim all the input VAT you are lawfully entitled to.

Employees tax (PAYE)

Course duration: 5 hours


This course is aimed at employers who pay salaries and wages to employees and explains how to calculate, deduct, and pay Employees’ tax, UIF and SDL. Learn how to calculate and claim ETI (Employment tax incentive) to reduce your tax expense.
